I am selling my Swan 36, in excellent condition, 11 meters, built in 1969
This superb 11-meter JCH-class One Tonner with a rating of 86236 is ready to compete in all classic yacht regattas, and in particular the Yacht Club de France’s Atlantic Cup
This Stephens design, the successor to Cybèle, the series prototype, and the 1968 RORC champion, is the first in a long line of Swans built by the Nautor shipyard in Finland, renowned for the quality of its vessels
I have her complete history and numerous documents dating back to her first owner, Barry Davies, who, as a friend of the British importer of Hood sails, used to sail with him in the Irish Sea in the ISORA and RORC regattas in the early 1970s
The boat was completely refurbished by the previous owner in 2015, with various local shipyards and specialists handling the work (hull repairs, rigging, deck fittings, sails, electronics, radar, AIS, solar panels, heating, etc.))
I bought this boat in 2023 and have continued to upgrade it:
- Sparcraft standing rigging, refrigerator, and toilet in 2023
- Painting the window sills in 2024
- Anti-osmosis treatment; replacement of certain hull panels in 2025
- 2012 survival assessment revised in 2025
The boat is visible in the water and is looked after by professionals during the winter storage period
