One design Buchanan used

It is built of wood in Trieste by the Apollonio Shipyard based on a 1958 design by Englishman Alan Buchanan. Recovered in spring 2018 by two new shipowners Gianfranco Bonomi and Saverio Mecca in Monfalcone's Upper Adriatic Shipyard undergoes careful maintenance and some restoration at that shipyard, which brings the boat to life in all its splendor. With Mauro Pelaschier at the helm, a circumnavigation of Italy begins at the end of June: Mauro is an ambassador for One Ocean Foundation of the Yacht Club Costa Smertalda promoting Charta Smeralda Decalogue for safeguarding our seas from the murderous invasion of plastic a very serious problem that can no longer be neglected. Crivizza joins the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda in promoting the meritorious initiative and performs with Mauro Pelaschier in 11 stages the signing of the Decalogue at sailing clubs across the peninsula. The circumnavigation of Italy begins in Trieste at the end of June 2018 and concludes in Genoa at the end of September with a Grand Pavese of more than 80 guidons from Italian sailing clubs that have signed Charta Smeralda.
